Get to Know Me
I've spent more than 15 years making companies and their executives impossible to ignore. Crafting the stories, earning the coverage, making sure the right people are paying attention. I'm really good at it.
After graduating from USC with a Masters in Strategic Public Relations in 2012, I landed a job at BrewPR, then a tech agency powerhouse in LA, and so began my career in tech PR. I worked for incredible companies across agencies and in-house, building relationships with leaders, executives, and investors that I call on to this day.
When I went out on my own, I didn't have a grand plan. But the relationships I'd built over the years had a way of coming back around. Former bosses became clients. A quick project turned into an ongoing partnership. A six-month contract turned into a client who told me I'd set the bar for the role – and brought me back on when the position became open again.
Today I work across multiple clients, from seed-stage startups announcing their first round of funding to established companies that need ongoing comms support, in sectors including agentic AI, climate, restaurant tech, voice AI, and more.
The big names are important. I've landed clients on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies list and quarterbacked profiles in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Forbes.
But vertical press often moves the needle more. I once had a client thrilled, genuinely thrilled, when I got their data into Plumber & Mechanical Magazine. Trade press is where I thrive, and I always find the right outlet.
Every pitch starts with the outcome in mind, and I will figure out how to make it happen.
Earned media MATTERS. Moreso now than ever.
When anyone can publish anything and AI can generate a blog post in seconds, placement in credible outlets builds authentic, earned trust.
It tells the people who matter that you're worth paying attention to. And it’s what AI search tools are sourcing, shaping how you appear to the world.
Good coverage works long after it publishes. It opens doors, starts conversations, and gives your team something real to point to.
It's how I've built everything
MY SECRET WEAPON: WINNING OTHERS OVER
I love a long-term relationship – with clients, colleagues, collaborators, and beyond. I truly enjoy building and cultivating connections with others, and those relationships are behind every placement I land, every introduction I make, and every client who keeps coming back.
More than just a pr pro
I also work with the Lodi Winegrape Commission, helping market and promote one of California's most exciting and under-the-radar wine regions.
The Commission has a fascinating origin story. Thirty-five years ago, Lodi's growers got together and decided to tax themselves on their grapes to form an organization that would ensure the longevity of the region. A community, coming together and pooling resources for the greater good.
That decision is paying off today. At a time when the wine industry is struggling to attract and engage curious drinkers, what Lodi offers lines up exactly with what they need: accessible, approachable, interesting, and exciting wines and wine experiences. This is what Lodi has always offered, and it's finally starting to get the attention it deserves.
That's what I'm helping to fuel.
I work on consumer and community marketing campaigns, events like our annual Wine & Chocolate weekend and roadshows like the Festival of Undiscovered Grapes and San Diego Food & Wine Festival. We host groups of sommeliers, wine writers, and influencers, helping them taste and experience all that is spectacular about Lodi Wine.
On weekdays you’ll often find me at the Lodi Wine Visitor Center, a wine bar and bottle shop attached to the office that offers a lineup of wines made from locally-grown grapes rotating weekly, Find me poking my head out between tasks, taking a sneaky sip of whatever great new bottle Paul, the resident somm, has opened up.
On weekends, my partner Jordan and I are usually exploring – a new tasting room, a winemaker we haven't met yet, or just hanging in the backyard with Midas and a bottle of something interesting. It's a good life out here.
If you're ever in the area – or even if you're not – come visit. I mean it! I'll pour you a glass and introduce you to the people and places that make this region special. I'm always down for a good conversation.
